Of note: I didn't have to choose "Other" when registering and all went smoothly.I picked "Online Webshop". For AD1, you had to first purchase the AD1 software/engine and then the adpacks (sold seperately) could be used. What BassDaddy is saying is that each of the current Adpacks contain the AD2 engine built in, and a seperate purchase isn't necessary. If I do, does that "upgrade me"? This seems pretty darn confusing. Will all the drum software (EZ Drummer 2 - Superior Drummer3 - Steven Slate Drums SSD5 - XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2 - RealiDrums) work with Studio One Artist DAW that comes with PreSonus. I have not picked or dl'ed any of the paks. Im getting the PreSonus ioSTATION 24c 2x2 USB-C Audio Interface and Production Controller with Studio One. It shows I have AD1 installed and everything is up to date. Are you saying there is no "AD2" to download? When I "registered" my AD2 it shows the paks, but no AD2.

With the Producer Bundle you get 3 AD2 kits (and the AD2 engine) and if you upgrade you will have 7. So if you upgrade you will get 4 kits added to AD2. So even though you only have 1 AD Pack if you upgrade you get the Pop, Rock and Prog kits that are included in AD.
You get AD2 when you buy an AD Pack, or bundle, so you don't really get an AD2 with standard kits included. Another odd factoid there really isn't a AD2. I WAS confusing at first, going through CC. Just go back to the (IIRC) installer/installation page and there are the options for picking the rest of my stuff. It took me a bit to figure it out but once I found the XLN installer, everything became butta! I picked my three kits but am taking my time with the midi and pieces. Worked a treat ! And yes, very satisfied up to now with almost everything ! VERY Satisfied with the new Upgrade process. Hit Register Product Key and BAM!!! - the three AD PAK deal popped up.

CAREFULLY entered the product serial number for AD 2 displayed in Command Center Each of the 12 slots is hard-wired to a particular kind of drum or cymbal, giving you one kick and one snare per kit, one hi-hat, one ride cymbal, a cowbell, four toms and three crash, splash or China cymbals.

Reason being the Others did not allow full entry of the given serial number. Addictive Drums kits can contain 12 instruments in total, although you can leave slots empty if you dont need them. it's important to click "Other, Not Sure" *** after some confusion *** I ran the XLN Online Installer In response to the question "Where Did You Get This Product?".

because I had already purchased the full version of both prior to upgrading SONAR Didn't want to re-install AD2. Installed all except Addictive Drums 2 & Melodyne. if you have the same situation Upgraded to SONAR Platinum. What is the configuration of your computer? Never mind, I returned home ez drum, and I am satisfied. I still find it a bit contemptuous from xln not be clear about this. That I did learn what use are trial versions! sincerely, that one, I could find my own! I have no desire to get into such a project, especially that my software is not all compatible with 64bit. (Such as panties) after multiple exchanges with technicians at xln, we finally suggested that I switch to 64 bits. Maybe, but then why not specify it in the product file?!? so far, no problem, I go to the dealer where I bought it, German magazine not to mention it, and was told that the software is not exchangeable or refundable. I will not give my opinion on the product since I could not try it! and for good reason, this version does not work in 32-bit because it is too greedy.
